Welcome to the club and we hope you will be pleased with what we offer in our monthly meetings, newsletter and our site facilities. However, you should remember that the club is the members and needs positive input from them. If you feel that things can be improved or that something is wrong, then let a member of the committee know. Any new ideas you may have will be very welcome as will input of any techniques, resources or skills you have.
The club meets regularly at the Silverdale Inn in Johnston on the last Monday of each month, except January and December. The Annual General Meeting is held on the first Monday of January.
To join the Pembrokeshire Model Club, you must agree with the club CONSTITUTION as amended January 1999
INTRODUCTION
Club rules are complementary to the BMFA Safety Code for Flying and
members must make themselves familiar with this. It is a condition of
club membership that members abide by the code as well as club rules.
The aim is to provide as safe a procedure as possible and to prevent
accidents.
All flying members must be covered by BMFA insurance and members must
always carry their membership card when on site. No other insurance
scheme is acceptable.
ACCESS TO SITES
Cars must be parked in a tidy manner so that no obstruction is caused.
The safety officer will make the final decision on the most suitable
place to park.
All gates that you pass through must be shut behind you.
No litter must be left. This includes any pieces of broken model, broken
propellers, fuel containers and the like.
If you see any problem that the site owner may not be aware of, you
must inform him. This may be especially important if there is an animal
in distress.
Flying and boating may take place between 0900 and 2100 on every day
of the year except Christmas Day.
